How To Add A Product To Your Profile

Adding a product to your collection is one of the most important parts of being a collector! To do that on Crateble, start by logging in at Crateble.com.

Quick Add

The fastest way to add an item is by using the Quick Add feature. You can find it by clicking on the profile icon in the top right to open a drop-down menu, and toggling on the Quick-Add option as shown below.

Once you’ve turned Quick-Add on, you can click on the box icon on the left side of the page to visit the Products page. On the products page, you can use the search bar, collections, and categories to find specific products. Once you’ve found the product you’re looking for, hit the small plus icon below the product image to add it to your collection.

You can also add products by clicking on the plus icon with Quick Add disabled. This will open up a window where you can add details about your specific copy of the product, including quantity, cost, purchase source, condition, if the item is for sale, your own pictures/media, and more

Adding New Products

To add new products that aren’t already on the site, click on the plus-sign icon in the bottom right corner. This will open a menu with a few different options; to add a product you can choose between Snap Product or Add Product

Snap Product (Coming Soon)

Snap Product is a feature that will be added in the near future! It will open Crateble’s Snap feature, which allows you to quickly add products from images.

Using either a webcam or an image on your device, the Snap feature will identify your product. To use a webcam, click on Open Webcam. You will be asked to hold up either your product or the product barcode to the camera. Make sure to keep the product steady and in-focus. When you’re ready, click on the white circle on the right side to take a picture

If you scroll down, you will be able to select a category by clicking on Select category, in order to refine your product search. You will also be able to see any uploaded images you have taken. When you are happy with the images you have provided, click Submit.

You can also upload an image from your device by clicking Upload from the Snap a Product page, or by dragging an image directly from your device into the Upload box

This option allows you to use images on your device to identify products in the Crateble database. Similarly to the Webcam option, you can also view any images uploaded and select a category to help refine your search.

Add Product

Add Product will open a search bar which you can use to filter the site for similar products. If you can’t find your product by searching, hit the Add A Product button

The Add a Product button will open a page similar to the one found by adding a product without Quick Add. You’ll need to enter the product Name, Category, Brand, and at least one form of Media to represent the product. You can also add the UPC, MSRP, ASIN, and a product description.

Once you have added all of the product details, click on Create to create the product.

Once you have created your new product, click on the Add to Portfolio button to add it to your collection on Crateble! This will act as adding a product without using Quick Add.
